Saskia & Serge are a Dutch vocal duo consisting of singer Trudy van den Berg (born 23 April 1947, and singer-guitarist Ruud Schaap (born 22 March 1946. They are known for their participation in the 1971 Eurovision Song Contest, and have enjoyed a long and successful career in their native Netherlands.

Off Duty!... Here, Dankworth harks back to an earlier era of jazz, innocent and intended for dancing. The tunes are in the main standards arranged here by Dankworth, David Lindup and pianist Laurie Holloway, with four originals (one from Holloway, three from Dankworth). The tunes that come off best are the leader's own slinky title track, a new take on Galt McDermott's "African Waltz" and the two Duke Ellington pieces, "Sophisticated Lady" and "Don't Get Around Much Anymore," the former featuring some rather nice trumpet. But this all has the feel more of easy listening than jazz.

This of course was in "Leicester" !!!

The Airmen of Note is the premier jazz ensemble of the United States Air Force and part of the United States Air Force Band. Created in 1950 to carry on the tradition of Major Glenn Miller's Army Air Corps dance band, the "Note" is a touring big band that has attracted 18 professional jazz musicians from across the United States.
The band has presented jazz performances to audiences throughout the United States, Europe, and Asia and produces broadcasts and recordings , with one release reaching number two on the JazzWeek jazz album chart. In 1954 the Airmen of Note played Miller's band in the movie The Glenn Miller Story.
