Petula Clark.

 There is not much info on the back cover of this L/P in fact there's "Nowt"...so I assume from the title that it was recorded in "Memphis" and I think that you can tell....not a sign of the "Hatch & Trent" sound....and its a good photo of Petula !!....give it a listen and see what you think !!
P.S I think that this L/P is one of Petula's best clear diction and singing.....BUT it's not as good as her CD "Blue Lady" "The Nashville Sessions"recorded in 1976 for ABC records but was not released owing to "Creative Differences"...It was released in 1995 by "Varese Sarabande"....If You are a Petula fan it's worth making the effort to find it...It's a Good One !!

Petula's recordings in French...I guess that all these where her 45 releases when she was recording in France before her involment with "Tony Hatch & Jackie Trent" that gave her the "Downtown " hit and many more Hatch & Trent Songs !!.....Thanks Bob !!

Here's Pet in 1977...not a Tony Hatch / Jackie Trent song in sight !!..but she does do a good "Disco" version...I guess every singer at about this time was giving disco a shot !!...But a very good selection of songs with Petula in a More subdued  and not so bouncy mood...
