Adam Wade
This singer is new to me...although his voice and style is his own you can hear the influences of Johnny Mathis and Nat King Cole... its a smooth and tasty set of standards from 1961 !!...so if you like Johnny & Nat you will enjoy this one !
Adam Wade (born Patrick Henry Wade, March 17, 1935) is an American singer, drummer and television actor. He had his first major hit with a song called "Ruby" in early 1960, a cover of the hit movie song of 1953. He released the following albums in the United Kingdom: 1961 Adam and Evening, HMV CLP 1451, Adam Wade One Is A Lonely Number, mono Columbia 33SX1501, stereo Columbia SCX3474, both 1962. Petula Clark.
There is not much info on the back cover of this L/P in fact there's "Nowt"...so I assume from the title that it was recorded in "Memphis" and I think that you can tell....not a sign of the "Hatch & Trent" sound....and its a good photo of Petula !!....give it a listen and see what you think !!
P.S I think that this L/P is one of Petula's best clear diction and singing.....BUT it's not as good as her CD "Blue Lady" "The Nashville Sessions"recorded in 1976 for ABC records but was not released owing to "Creative Differences"...It was released in 1995 by "Varese Sarabande"....If You are a Petula fan it's worth making the effort to find it...It's a Good One !!

Liza Minnelli.
This is Liza in the 70's 1973 to be exact so I recon that she made this after her Film "Cabaret"I think I'm safe saying that looking at the hair style !....It's a typical 70's style music with songs of the day and she does a good job on all of them...best tracks for me is "I'd Love You To Want Me"...and "Don't Let Me Be Lonely Tonight" !!
1. I Believe In Music

Frank Sinatra.
This L/P is much better than "The Swingin' Brass" one....Sinatra's voice seems to blend in better with the arrangements and the "Stereo" is much better....and the selection of songs seem to fit better.....That's my opinion any way...but I guess some one out in cyber space will disagree....It would be a dull world if everybody had the same opinion !!!
