Side Two Track One cool version of "Satisfaction"..I wish she had carried on and done the rest of the album like the first tracks on both sides....Having said that it is still a good L/P but it is the Sandie Shaw that we were used to in the 60's....Later on she did change her style but this one indicates what she could do....Just love her Version of "Satisfaction"....But a good track is also

Here's a later day Helen with her association with Humphrey Lyttelton doing Duke Ellington !..so you have a Pop star singing with a Trad Jazz band who are interpreting some cool Jazz !! three all wrapped up in One !...The Trad Jazz sound is on the back burner !!
 Having taught himself the trumpet at school, Lyttelton became a popular figure of the trad jazz revival, leading his own eight-piece band, which recorded a hit single, "Bad Penny Blues", in 1956.

Robert Wilson (2 January 1907 – 25 September 1964) was a Scottish tenor.  Now this compilation took me completely by surprise nearly every track is a good Un'...Apart from "Johnny Cash" & "Roy Orbison" whose voices are easily recognisable  the rest are finding their way to the voices that we associate them today !!.....For example "Jerry Lee Lewis" does a great job on "Cold Cold Heart" I bet that you wouldn't have guessed it was him if you didn't know and a great piano bit in the middle hope it was him playing !!!..and then we have "Conway Twitty" doing a "Elvis" on "Give Me Some Love".....and one track that I think is the best one on this L/P and again if you didn't know who it was you would be surprised who it actually is and it's definatly not a CW song more likes a "Blues"...What's the track you ask !!!
well now.... "Those Places Around Town" by "Charlie Rich"......As I  said at the beginning this is a great selection of songs and don't let the title put you off....."Kudos" to the folks at "Pickwick" who put this together.....So Enjoy this One !!!!
