Roy Clark

A look back to the late 60's now....I have not heard of this singer before so comments from me are at a minimum !!...I believe the first track was a hit for him !!

Roy Linwood Clark (born April 15, 1933) is an American singer and musician. He is best known for hosting Hee Haw, a nationally televised country variety show, from 1969 to 1997. Roy Clark has been an important and influential figure in country music, both as a performer and helping to popularize the genre.n 1963, Clark signed to Capitol Records and had three top ten hits. He switched to Dot Records and again scored hits. He later recorded for ABC Records, which had acquired Dot, and MCA Records, which absorbed the ABC label.

10. Don't Touch Me

  1. As an American who definitely saw my share of Hee-Haw as a kid, I find it amazing to think that someone doesn't know who Roy Clark is. He one hell of a musician and all around nice guy.

  2. Yes, indeed you're right, Armpit Studios, but I think it was just that way for Americans. Who couldn't remember all the Hee-Haw TV shows, wow, and Roy's voice was terrific whether a person was inclined to "country" or not. So happy to see this album here :D
