Great to see this is up and running again. Don't be scared off by the fake bullies....
ReplyDeleteMichael, don't be scared off by the fake bullies. Be concerned about the REAL ones who MAY decide to make an example of you. What's involved is whether a retired fool and his money should part, via TREBLE damages and punitive damages, and the fool will pay all the court costs involved in gaining all the GOOGLE records, Zippyshare records, etc. etc. to prove malicious intent and continued upload abuse. Then a check of your sky.com emails to verify your blog identities and conspiracies. Don't count on the mercy of being the small fish, Michael, too small for the skillet. You may get yourself battered in court, with or without chips.
ReplyDeleteThe post by "Anonymous" is typical of the scare tactics being used by freelance bounty hunters. I've tracked down these people myself, and they are a small group of young 'wanna-be's trying to make money by reporting trivial copyright infringements that are of no interest whatever to the holders, who have neither the funds nor the desire to initiate legal proceedings. Only when millions of dollars/pounds are at stake does the copyright holder resort to the law. The reality is that nobody is going to pursue you, but if you are still anxious, go private - for invited members only.
