Deleted Files

Hi Folks....Its seems that my time has run out as far as "Mega" is concerned my account has been terminated !!...everything seems to come from "Warner dmca@gmail.com...WELL NOW !!....this is what WEBSPOTTER has to say about this e-mail address....

Warner Music Group email format

We have found Warner Music Group to be using 4 different formats for professional email addresses. The most common email pattern is {first}.{last}@wmg.com, which is used for 95.2% of all work email addresses at wmg.com.

Some other patterns used are {last}@wmg.com and {first}{l}@wmg.com..........  I Assume that by (First) they mean the first name and by (Last) the surname !

So the e-mail should be.....@wmg.com

So my assumption is that the take down notices that are sent to MEGA and Others by that e-mail address are false.....I have contacted MEGA and other's about this quite a while ago but they say that they have to act on all take down notices and haven't got the time to check every one that comes in....so it seems that the LITTLE man under the bridge has struck again !!Also some of the PIXELDRAIN files have been deleted as well....I guess I will have to stick with the 78's 45's and compilations for a while and see how it goes.......Sooooooooo in the meantime keep coming back and see whats here !!...and if there is something that has been deleted that you want, leave a comment on the post and if I have still got it you could be in luck if you are quick......Cheers

Kenny Burrell

  • Some great atmospheric music that needs to be listened to whilst relaxing with a drink or two !!

Kenneth Earl Burrell (born July 31, 1931) is an American jazz guitarist known for his work on the Blue Note label. His collaborations with Jimmy Smith produced the 1965 Billboard Top Twenty hit album Organ Grinder Swing. He has cited jazz guitarists Charlie Christian and Django Reinhardt as influences, along with blues guitarists T-Bone Walker and Muddy Waters.

He made his recording debut as a member of Dizzy Gillespie's sextet in 1951, followed by the "Rose of Tangier"/"Ground Round" single recorded under his own name at Fortune Records in Detroit. Burrell toured with Oscar Peterson after graduating in 1955 and then moved to New York City in 1956 with pianist Tommy Flanagan. Within months, Burrell had recorded his first album as leader for Blue Note and both he and Flanagan were sought-after as sidemen and studio   musicians, performing with singers Tony Bennett and Lena Horne and recording with Billie Holiday, Jimmy Smith, Gene Ammons, and Kenny Dorham, among others. From 1957 to 1959, Burrell occupied the former chair of Charlie Christian in Benny Goodman's band. Since his New York debut Burrell has had a prolific recording career, and critics have cited The Cats with John Coltrane in 1957, Midnight Blue with Stanley Turrentine in 1963, and Guitar Forms with arranger Gil Evans in 1965 as particular highlights.... Ella Fitzgerald.320.Kbps

Here's Ella in her element singing with only an Organ and Drums....gone is the restraint when she sings with an "Orchestrated Orchestra"and has to follow some kind rules....This is the "Ella In Concert Mode" just as I remember seeing her many times....To me there are two kind of Ella's... One the great interpreter of the "Songbooks"and the other when she always seems to let rip and enjoy herself...all you have to do is listen to the many concert L/P's that she has released to get what I am talking about.....Glad that she did "Mack The Knife" all the way through without the "forgetting the words" bit that she did on the L/P "Ella In Berlin"...that would have been "contrived" and missing the point.....You only get gems like that spontaneously....This L/P was made in 1978 about that time her voice began to change and the "sweet notes" as Ella herself called them were begining to disapear.....The last time I saw her in concert was with "Count Basie" and she was suffering with her legs.....When she came on stage she was supported and escorted by him.....But the concert was a knockout....Nooooooo there never will be another Ella !!!!!

Les Paul & Mary Ford

Les Paul and Mary Ford were a popular 1950s husband-and-wife musical duo, who performed and recorded during 1945—1963. They both sang and played guitars.Ford and Paul were music superstars during the first half of the 1950s, putting out 28 hits for Capitol Records between 1950 and 1957, including "Tiger Rag", "Vaya con Dios" (11 weeks at #1), "Mockin' Bird Hill" (top 10), "How High the Moon" (nine weeks at #1), "Bye Bye Blues" and "The World Is Waiting for the Sunrise".
