Neil Diamond.320 .Kbps

This was a new "Neil Diamond" to me !!...even tho' it was recorded in 1978...must have been asleep all that year !!!....The track of "You Don't Bring me Flowers" with "Barbra" has the "Myth" of a DJ in America joining the two individual tracks as one and playing it on his show "CBS" liked the idea and did it themselves and issued it as a single !!!!....NOW whether or not that is true who know's !!!!..Strange how these things get about !!!...like the "Urban Myths"of different subjects and countries !!!..Great Track Of "The Dancing Bumble Bee/Bumble Boogie!

Creedance Clearwater Revival

Now here's a surprise !! to me that is !!...only thing I can remenber about CCR is the great recording of "Bad Moon Rising" which featured in the Film "American Werewolf In England"
This L/P from the start is something else !!

Creedence Clearwater Revival, often informally abbreviated to Creedence or CCR, was an American rock band active in the late 1960s and early 1970s. The band consisted of lead vocalist, lead guitarist, and primary songwriter John Fogerty, his brother rhythm guitarist Tom Fogerty, bassist Stu Cook and drummer Doug Clifford. Their musical style encompassed the roots rock, swamp rock, and blues rock genres.

Young At Heart.320.Kbps

This is not from the soundtrack....In the distant 50's I think that they would go into the studio and record the songs...on this L/P there are two tracks that are not in the film and you don't get the title song either...I think it was because Sinatra recorded for "Capitol" records so I suppose it was something to do with "Contractual" things... The two songs that Frank sings are the ones not in the film.."One For The Road" was ok because he had recorded it before he moved to "Capitol"... before he joined the "Capitol" Label he was recorded by "Columbia" which was "Philips" in England...When I was in my teens Doris Day was my favourite singer...

1. Till My Love Comes To Me......Doris Day
2. Ready Willing And Able.....Doris Day
3. Hold Me In Your Arms......Doris Day
4. You Can Take My Word For It Baby.....Frank Sinatra

1. There's A Rising Moon......Doris Day
2. One For My Baby And One More For The Road....Frank Sinatra
3. You My Love.....Doris Day
4. I'm Glad There Is You.....Frank Sinatra

Alma Cogan.320.Kbps

I wonder if most of us who listen to songs either on Vinyl or CD or MP3 players and even the Radio think about the orchestral arrangements because I think that a good arrangement of a song can make it great...and this L/P has some fantastic arrangements in fact the whole album is A1....and it helps the singer sound great too...not that Alma Cogan needs any help in that department...Once again she sings perfectly....I wish some of our female singers of today could sing as clear as Alma you can hear every word she sings....Best track for me is "What Is There To Say" with "Falling In Love With Love " a good Second

 1. With You In Mind
2. I Dream Of You
3. Lets Fall in Love
4. In Other Words
